Mission Statement

As the caretakers of the courses and grounds, we are entrusted with aesthetic, playability and fiscal responsibilities to our members and guest.  We will use our knowledge gained through education and experience to create the highest standard of excellence. Using sound management practices, we are devoted to preserving the natural beauty of our sensitive ecosystem.  We will attain this by providing a healthy, friendly and enjoyable working atmosphere through the growth, integrity and equality of our staff.

 

The Sand Ridge campus has been designated by Audubon International as a Certified Signature Sanctuary since Jun 10, 1998, becoming the first private golf course in the state of Ohio to achieve this status.  To obtain certification, the club had to submit and implement detailed construction and maintenance plans, adhering to the following criteria:

• Wildlife Conservation, Habitat Enhancement
• Integrated Pest Management
• Water Conservation
• Water Quality Monitoring and Management
• Waste Management & Energy Efficiency
• Outreach and Education
